I have a Honda 90hp 4 stroke that was not pumping water very good. I change the impeller, key and gasket then refit. It still pumps in a steady stream but not as strong as the stb engine. |

Immediate thoughts - assuming the impeller & gaskets installed properly. Any pieces missing from old impeller? If so, reverse flush and try to get them out. Remove & clean pee tube & check fittings. Remove T-Stats and clean & test thoroughly. Flush with Salt Away (even if you are running in fresh water - can still get calcium build up.) |
