Hi all, I have fell victim to the poor carb design on the honda 4strokes. Ok maybe I had a hand in it. My motor is an 03 75 hp carb model. It is giving me all the symtpoms of a fouled up carb. I have removed all four and cleaned them the best I can. Question is how expensive is the rebuild kit and how do I know if all four need rebuilt and does any one have the service manuals in E-format? Any direction would be helpful. Thanks Kenny |

I took her out for a spin today and found that it only runs rough in the first 1/8 of throttle movement. After you go past that and reach about 2200 on the tach she smooths out and runs fine. If I choke it momentarily it runs fine at low speeds. Can I remove the slow jet from outside the carb and clean it out? |
