Bought used. Ran once, overheated quite a bit. I then changed the t-stat, and bad impeller. Took it out for a 1hour test run. Ran fine, checked the oil level upon return. It ran out of the oil dip stick hole for 30 seconds. Very milky!!!! I took off the valve cover gasket, milky oil everywhere..... Please help... |

change the oil and run it agian
might be the headgasket |

How can I test if its the gasket or a cracked engine? Can I do a compression test on it to see? Whats the balpark figures to have someone check/ fix the headgasket?? Thanks man!!! |

If I do a comp test, will that just show me that its damaged? or can I determin if its the head gasket or cracked block without opening the thing up? What kind of numbers should I be seeing? Thanks... |

yes a comp test will tell you
a leak down test is better |
