Hi Guys I have a F80 4 stroke Yamaha motor and it develops a slight sqeak intermitently after about half an hour to one our of use, it sounds like belt squeak but i have placed a touch of lube on the belt while it is making the noise but have not been able to shut it up, i have also run the motor in a barrel but it seems i cant get it warm enough... any ideas on what it could be |

Could be the drive shaft bushing, drop lower unit and look up in there, maybe a dab of grease, maybe a new bushing. Good Luck! |
