I took my boat in for PM service to find out that my mechanic cannot get the lower units to drop for water pump replacement. This was the case with both engines. Seems to me it's very odd for this to happen to both motors at the same time. The water pumps have been routinely serviced every 200 hrs. Anyone have similar situation? What was the outcome? For now, I told them to put the bolts back in. Any help would be appreciated. |

There is a problem with the newer Suzuki V-6's not seperating. The driveshaft gets stuck in the upper coupler to the powerhead. In some cases the only solution is to cut the driveshaft. Haven't heard of this issue with any Yami's..YET. Who knows. |
