I posted earlier but don't see the post. Just a newbie. Does anyone know the difference between the Yamaha F series and the V Max Series II HPDI? I want a 250 HP and both engine series are listed in the Yamaha spec book. The website sort of explains the technology but does not indicate what application is best for each or if one is newer technology or how the consumer should choose one over the other. Thanks for any comments. |

Depends if you want a four stroke or two...the four stroke is quieter and has good smooth power but the 2 stroke is a little noisier and has a sharper power curve |
