1993 Yamaha 200 HP Wiring Diagrams

Author Message   Ken New member Username: kenallyson Post Number: 1 Registered: 09-2009 Posted on Friday, September 18, 2009 - 11:46 am:    I bought a used 1993 Yamaha 200 HP outboard to repower a boat previously powered by a Mercury 200. The Yamaha came with some wiring problems. The previous owner cut the 10 wire wiring harness, the oil tank harness, and others. I guess it was too much trouble to unplug the plugs. I have a diagram for the wiring on the engine. I am thinking that I can figure out those wires. My real troubles are in the wiring coming from the key swithc in the console. This wiring harness is not connected the control box (Morse controls). Do you have a wiring diagram from the key switch back to the engine? As far as I know, it is a key swith designed for a Yamaha motor. Thanks. Ken
