I'm having trouble getting information from anyone around here (including the dealer) about converting my manual start, manual tilt, tiller 30hp yamaha to remote steering and throttle and electric start. The engine was a steal and if I could convert it so I can use my console I'll be very happy  I just need to know the part numbers and estimated cost to do it and maybe what a shop would charge or if i could do it myself. I've heard 1.5-2hrs shop time to convert.

Ok, I went and checked out the page. I guess I don't really know what I need to do a conversion. There seems to be an awful lot of parts. Are there any kits available or parts lists for doing a conversion?

Can you send me a direct link? I go to Yamaha-motors, outboard, parts, and from there I can't find rigging or anything like that. Nothing in the parts catalog for my model. Am I in the right spot? |
