After running at high speed (4000-5000rpm) for about 20 minutes, my starboard 250 loses about 500rpms. It will intermittently pop back up in sync with the port engine but cannot hold the rpm. All internal and external fuel filters, thermostats and oxygen sensors were replaced. Any thoughts/ideas on source of problem are greatly appreciated. |

This is a common problem, and it is usually the low pressure fuel pumps need to be replaced. They were defective from the factory in your year. There are three of them, and they are cheap. About $33 each at www.boats.net. |

u can get the parts here
problem was the main diaphragms leaked big time
if u see gas in the water, u gots problems
i can blow boats.net parts away big time for any yami OEM parts |

How much for three pumps here (including shipping)?
I thought to advise him to to buy it here, but I couldn't find the right link to see if it was cheaper.
He could just rebuild with new diaphrams, but it's easier to just buy a new pump for $33. |

yes way easier to replace them
if you are in the west i can beat price
but if in the east boats.net will beat me because of shipping |
