turn flywheel and make sure all water gets out of cylinder,

get 2-stroke oil into the main bearing under the flywheel ASAP

make sure electrical system is dry, spray the hell out of the power unit with WD40/TS-10 or equivelant,

then replace plug, lead, etc
make sure there is NO WATER in your fuel tank, drain carburettor, then pull over untill it starts and run for a couple of hours...

should do the trick- just keep your engine coated in WD40 after running to keep the moisture out and listen out for bearing noise- if the main bearings rust, you need new ones- same for big end and small end bearings.

act now- or pay for it later.

yea, i know,
personally I use Double-T, the TS10 replacement.
it's better than WD40 cos it dont rot the rubber apparently...

WD40 is better than having your engine rotting away, and possibly more accessable in an emergency than a fancy equivelant that dont rot rubber:-)

fuel pipe replacement is a hell of alot cheaper than a new cylinder block or flywheel.

just out of interest, how the hell do you flip a dinghy with a 2HP?

either the conditions were a wee bit rough, or the boat was unbalanced...
