| Whats resonable speed for Force 50 on... |

Hi Gents; Have new to me 1985 Bayliner Capri 14FT. with a Force 50 on it at WOT I get about
22MPH. Planning takes forever. Is this normal?
I have had motor tuned and new prop installed,

jeff, i cannot tell you for sure - not a expert, but that does seem a little slow to me. are you taking into consideration the amount of weight in the boat? my 85hp on a 16'capri does 36 - 37 w/ a modest amount of weight, say two to three people and fishing gear. Graham Lamb can tell you for sure, look for his posts & ask him. dave |

check the RPM`s at WOT. maybe the new prop pitch is incorrect. |
