ser no 676b 40718, not been run for 18months or so, fired up after cleaning plugs and fresh fuel, had it in a big barrell, no water flow from hole?, is this impeller or does it need messing with? help

If it hasn't been run for 18 months then it's a fair bet that the impeller hasn't been changed in the last two years,so it's due a change,plus it has probably perished sitting about out of use.
When you drop the lower unit,blow some air down the tell tale or poke some strimmer line down

lee..use a thin piece of plyable wire up the tell tale hole...if its been in the salt..it plugs there very easily. You may want to change the impeller anyway, but it may just be plugged.

yep clean the hole

use compressed air also
