Hi guys, I posted this question under the wrong topic a while back and didn't get back to fixing it. But I'm after a starter for a 2004 25hp Mercury Seapro 2 stroke. Could anyone help me out with a dealer or at best a part number. I have been told that Tohatsu made this particular motor is that correct. |

Thats fine if I had a part number, which apparently is hard to come buy. I did get in contact with a dealer in the USA who sent me a starter, he was given the model and serial numbers for the outboard and vouched that the starter would fit. WRONG. I need the genuine part number to get this right |

Ohhh! Try a part number search on: http://www.dougrussell.com/partscatalog/collections/index.cfm?fuseaction=collect details&colid=01 or: http://www.crowleymarine.com/mercury_mercruiser_parts.cfm Look at various Merc models and write down the part numbers for each. A clearer picture might emerge. Jeff |
