Hi, I recently bought a 93 75hp 2 stroke Merc and all seems good so far.Starts and pumps a strong water flow, in and out of gears good. Have a question on the gauges fitted, tacho, voltmeter working OK but there is another gauge that reads upto 30psi on it and shows a 'oil can' symbol? When I start engine it goes straight to 5 psi and then doesn't move, even when revved. Any one know what the gauge is and how concerned I need to be about the low reading? Also, have ordered the full repair manual but does anyone know where I can get a basic operators manual for this engine?
Thanks David

Thanks Jeff, I'm more used to four strokes or diesel so the low psi had me worried for a moment but I realised it couldn't mean the same thing on a 2 stroke and if it is the oil tank 5 psi doesn't seem to bad. Thanks again David
