This motor has trouble starting because it does not seem to have a throttle idle lever. The choke works off of the remote but I do not see any simple 'lever' to rev the throttle to start. I have to pull the cover and give a shot of starting fluid to start it and then it just barely stays running. Quits many times. Is there an idler on the remote shifter? |

I suggest you quit using starting fluid,no oil in it,no cyl very soon. Is there a button in the center of the shift lever? If there is,when in neutral push in the button, this disengages the gear lever and allows the throttle to open. |

Thank you. Yes...the Ethyr is not a solution for sure. I have looked at the obvious..for the button..somewhere..anywhere. I am baffled. Probably need to let an expert have a look. Wondering if anyone has a similar motor with ..'the answer' |

Some throttle have a deal where you hit a buttont to separate the throttle from the shifting. That way you can idle it up. Look for a button or ?? near the handle. Jeff |

you should have a warm up lever or start in neutral rebuild the carbs and fuel pump and change plugs |
