I have a 84 25xd that is driving me crazy. It is hard to start and idles rough.Reving it up it seems to be choking out,running too rich. I rebuilt the carb with the built in fuel pump. Compression is even at 120. Spark seems good. Ohmed the coils and are ok. New plugs and wires.I even popped for a new switchbox and still the same.Doesnt seem to be ignition or electrical and I think Ive replaced all the fuel system. I need help please. Dont know where to go next. Thanks to all in advance |

The "choke" (actually enrichener) set up may be adjusted wrong. With the choke all the way off, the little plunger in the carb must be all the way up. If the linkage is pushing it down, even a tiny bit, the carb will send way too much fuel to the motor.
