Can I do without the power trim n tilt or is it really a necessity? I know it is a nice luxury, but can you do without it, if you have the back for it?

the trim hight can change the boats performance considerably but you also can set in manually play with different pin hights and see what happens

Would it be feasible to take the two t&t cylinders off and try this before I decide to remove the whole thing completely from the motor? The other components to operate the t&t have not been installed yet. Will I be able to raise and lower the motor manually by taking just the cyllinders off?

thanks, fishndan

will be working on ob next 3 days,. owners manual w/ ob says i need 8 holes in transom to mount ob w/ power t/t. I want to remove t/t completely, will the four transom mount holes on motor mount assy be sufficient and if not, how do I get the "pressure" off the t/t to manually tilt the o.b.? No hoses or anything are attached to t/t at this time.

thanks, fishndan
