I just picked up a 1972 1150 and have a 71' 1350 block that I may use in place of the 115 block. The question is, the 70 & 71 135's had a divider plat in the exhaust housing. Did the 115's have it also and how important is it? I have heard that the 135's do not run or idle right with out it, is this correct? I have also heard that they (the divider plates)are very fragile, are they still available?
