any tips on tiller shift maintenance
My 25 hp 1999 merc sometimes will not shift into reverse almost feels striped and the reverse and neutral words on the tiller handle will not line up properly, other times its fine
linkage and cams under the cowl looks fine |

Adjustment,adjustment, adjustment! Move the cable ends near the swivel unti; it moves the reverse cam further.
