i have just got my carbs cleaned and floats needles and seats replaced. when i took it out the engine seems to bog off the hop and i can slowly nurse it up to right about what seems to be half throttle. and as it warms up it only seems to get worse im out of thoughts please help.

Carbs too lean typically for that explanation.

what year is the engine ?

With the engine off and you put the throttle control to full throttle, do the throttle plates open fully ?

Is the timing advancing ?

1985 the carb plates open fully as well. how would you check for the timing advancing?

and yes the timing does advance with it at full throttle (carbs fully open) it only revs at around 2700 instead of around 5000.

Was that always the case, or is this a new phenomenon? If this is a new application of this motor, you might have way too much prop for the application.

its a new problem just started since the carbs have been cleaned however all original settings have been restored.

i have found the problem the high end jets had been plugged when they re inserted the plugs behind the jet silicon plugged off the passage way thanks for all the help guys
