hello all first timer, wondering about this idle enricher system. book says prime, push throttle lever up, push key and crank.no way! anyone figured the right amount to hold button in before trying to start, also is the system solely gravity fed or does vacuum help it along because it sure looks like the top cyl sits higher than the solenoid, i have disconnected lines from solenoid and it seems to be working if a trickle is normal, really was tough till i realized motor needed to be vertical for anythimg to flow to solenoid. blew through hose that runs to carb, seems clear, only thing i can think is fuel level too low in carb? i doubt it or i'de be having other issues. restarts hot with key tap and runs strong, only complaint is seems to load up on oil at idle, checked pump adjustment and this is a tank on engine system. sorry to be long winded, any advice appreciated |
