I need help finding out the year and any Info about this engine. The model is 40ELTO code 6E9 L and the serial # 500333. Thanks |

The 40 ELTO was a rather unique "C" model Mariner, built by Yamaha with 100% Yami parts for Merc.
It was produced in 1987. In 1988 it was changed a little again and called the 40ELT.
However, about 95% of parts from other "C" models produced during the 80's/early 90's are interchangable with your particular model.. |
