I run an 1850DV with a 175 Mariner. The throttle cable recently broke and I do not know how to remove the flush mount neutral knob to gain access to the mounting system and control end of the cable. Any help is appreciated. |

Most had a big allen hiding behind the plastic cover of the control handle. The handel is splined on to the stub shaft. The allen is a "look straight up from below" which cinches this spline. This would get the handle off then there were screws or bolts hiding there which loosened the controll box. It would then feed thru the hole of all the cables were disconnected. |
