No points, this has a Thunderbolt 4 ignition.
If the coil isn't the problem, loss of spark on a single cylinder is normally indicative of a toasted trigger.
Spend 35 bucks on a Selocs manual, scrounge up an ohm meter and test it - that's cheaper than simply swapping parts.
Alternately, take it to a Merc dealer and pay them 100+ an hour to troubleshoot for you. |
