After running my engine and putting it away with the engine tilted i end up with a load of mixed fuel in the transom trough. If i leave it down for a few hours its not so bad. I noticed the airfilter is also missing, i have only had it for a few months but am thinking of a service soon. I assume it is coming from the carbies. Any ideas chaps.

Hi,

OB's don't use air filters. No need for for them. Don't stress.

Normal for fuel to mess. Doesn't make sense, I know, but that's just how they rock.

Replace waterpump [impellor] soon as possible.

How tricky is it to change the impellor. I wouldnt even know where to start but am pretty handy with a spanner.

I highly recommend you get a manual. OEM manuals are more expensive but far superior to Seloc or Clymers.
