I have a 93 merc 100 2stroke,loads up at idle then clears up at idle.when you run up the rpms to 3000 or higher it loads up agian and acts like its running out of fuel, then starts smoking really bad and becomes sluggish and acts like it wants to flood out also its charging 15 volts with a hot battery ,I thought thats high for a hot battery. So I checked the carbs and they where clean, next rebuilt the fuel pump but the motor is still doing the same thing it was to start with, any ideals thanks Rodney

I'll bet the enrichener system is working when it shouldn't be.

Check out the 2+4 system. If you don't find anything than the manifold bleed check valves are probably bad. Unfortantley I think you have a Gen 1 engine that has to have the P/H pulled to do this job.
