i pu my boat in the water. i got to full throtle and fills like it has no power. but if i turn hard and get air under the boat it will get on plan and then it will go wide open and fly but if u stop the go to wot same problem it will put the front of the boat up in the air and thas it i can turn hard and get it on plane and it will go fAST hellppppp

HI Scotty,try adjusting the trim.if the boats out of the water,adjust the trim so that the cavitation plate is parallel with the bottom of the boat.use that as your start point,.try that for a start.

Hi,the pitch of the prop may be too much.ive been suggesting PROPULSE props,where u can adjust the pitch to suit your power needs.Has it always been underpowered?

no it used to run grate the pitch is 24 and its a 4 blade

ok i did that and put it back in the water still no power but i got it on plane and speed meter said 55 so as long as u can make the power to get it on plane then i got it made but it ant makein the power

Hi,theres about 2000 reasons why you could have dropped power.dirty carbs,linkages out of sync,electrical problems,fuel supply,motor getting tired,barnacles on the hull.I would book it in to a marine shop,and get it checked out

LOL I THINK UR RIGHT BUT IT JUST GETS TO ME CAZ IT RUNS PERFACT ON PLANE ITS JUS GETIN IT TO PLANE IF CARBS WAS DIRTY WOULD IT RUN FINE ONCE IT GETS UP IN RPMS LIKE IT IDELS FINE BUT LOW LOAD RPMS IN GEAR SUCK BUT ONCE I GET THEM UP RUN GOOD COULD THAT BE MA PROBLEM

You might have a stuck carb float which could be choking the motor at low speed.

I just had mine worked on and it was 500 at the shop and the problem was the stator was bad. The motor would not idle but 1/2 to full throtle it went great. Try and look at yours.
