Lots of possibilities:
1. Flooded--pull the plugs and see. If so, clean with lacquer thinner, blow off, and reinstall.
2. Not getting gas. Try squirting carb cleaner into the (open throttle) carb. If that does it, the carb could need cleaning, or you didn't pump the bulb hard enough (it happens).
3. Not giving it enough gas--these motors like a lot of throttle at cold start.

u can put gas in the cylinders and it want sputer over u can just keep pulling it and then u will get a pop |
