Hi, I have a 1978 or 79' 40hp 402 Mercury. I had it running great on land with ears. I put it in the water ran for about 5 minutes and stopped. I checked and it had no spark I noticed a couple of wires that were dry rotted and replace them. I also replace the brain box and still no spark is it posibble it is the wire harness or stater. How do I confirm the stater. Thanks for any help I can get on this. |
