Help needed. I have a 1990 50 HP Mariner O/B that starts well and runs strong with plenty of power at first, but seems to lose power once it warms up. Cooling system appears to be working well with a good stream of water from outlet. Any suggestions as to what might cause this loss of power would be appreciated. |

Gas starvation. Vent open? Air leak in the hose? Plugged filter? Jeff |

Thanks for the input. I'm running off of 6 gal tanks, there is an in-line filter on the engine. I'll check the filter and gas line. Would these conditions only cause problems once the engine heats up? JH |
