I am looking for my serial numbers and I cannot find them. There is no I.D. Plate on the back. I think the guy who painted them took them off. So I am lost. And I cannot find a water jacket plug, any suggestions? |

Louis, although it would cause me to dig harder 
How many cylinders (inline or V4 V6 etc) and can you see a casting number on a carb (top carb if multiple) - would be looking for a WMC .... or WME/WMH etc followed by a few numbers - usually either on top of the carb or on the right hand side if you are looking down it's throat... |

Sorry about not giving the other info, They are 150 optimax, v-6 application fuel injected. |

I haven't crawled around the block on an Opti looking for a serial yet, so can't give you an exact location.
Here's where Merc says the numbers are...
