Hi,
I just bought this boat a few weeks ago. I have been on the water 3 times with it. The bulb pumps up fine, and the choke is okay. It seems to start fine and idle ok but as soon as you go to take off or put under any load it wants to stall. If you don't get off the throttle quick enough it will. It usually starts right back up okay, but really have to work the throttle easy to take off. I was trying to tow a skier yesterday and it got so bad we had to bag it because could not take off! Please help, thanks Floyd. |

dirty carbs or running to lean. Lack of fuel means lack of oil, due not run engine as is.
Remove and clean carbs or adjust idle mixture screws 1/8 turn richer (ccw) |

Thanks for the help. I think my problem is to much fuel however. I smell fuel, it starts and idles great. I am definately gonna clean carbs. I hope it is easy. I have never owned an OB motor. Someone also said could have problme with fuel pump? Not sure!
