On my motor next to where the fuel line plugs in, on the left is a hole with nothing attached to it. What is this!! When the motor is tilted up a oily substance leaks out. Is this hole used for something or does it just need to be plugged up? Please help me....I am new this is my first boat

Is your motor oil injected or not.

Do you see this hole with or with out the cover on. Because it may be that your oil injection hose is not properly tightened or something. If it is leaking in oily substance.

isn't that where the wiring normally enters the cowl. the oily stuff would be fuel mix dripping from carbs when its tilted, normal. picture would be nice
