The current carb is a ER7ASL Motor s/n. OP382395 year 2005 4 hp 5,5 lb . Johan |

Let's see, you have a relatively new 4 horse and you want more power from it.... Sell it while it's still almost new and buy something bigger. Sorry if that sounds a bit harsh, but seriously, this is a very small single cylinder motor. Even going up to a 5 horse will produce "no noticable difference" in perfomance. In order to get something you will notice in this horsepower range you are going to have to double the horsepower, at minimum. |

It's quicksilver (small rubberboat) combo. And 1 hp makes some difference. Was just curieus what the difference was between the 4, 5, and 6 HP outboards. Does a 6 HP carb fit in mine? Is there any difference between these carburators? The 6 HP makes more r/pm. at top..same cc... Johan |
