I JUST REBUILT A 1977 INLINE 115 ONE NEW PISTON RERUNG MOTOR REPLACED ALL BEARINGS AND ROD BEARING CAGES STARTS FINE BUT RUNS VERY HOT EVERYTHING SPINS FREELY I ALSO INSTALLED NEW WATER PUMP....NORMAL FOR A REBUILT ??? DONT WANT TO DAMAGE A NEW MOTOR FOR SOMTHING SILLY??? |

did you clean all the carbs, lack of fuel means lack of oil |

I REBUILT THEM LAST YEAR AT THE BEGINING OF THE SEASON THEN TORE IT DOWN FIGURED THEY WOULD BE FINE...ILL CLEAN THEM...I HAVE IT RUNNING ON THE STAND AND ITS WAY TO HOT....ED |

double check the one that tore the piston up. Lean = hot and detonation. Peeing a good stream?
