Has anyone changed the lower mounting yoke and bushings on this motor or know anything about it?? How involved is it? it looks like I just need to pull the lower unit and then the snap ring and back out the bolts that hold the yoke in place then remove and install new one. Any thoughts before I begin?

Many times. You are going to open a can. DON'T touch the snap ring. The bolt's do not slide back far enough to do that. What you are supposed to do is remove the powerhead and unbolt the top and bottom and slide the whole motor leg off the pegs. But if the bitter end of the steering tube is in rough shape where the snap ring locks than it will not survive the operation. It never does. That alone is a $300 part. You will also need the grease seal and O-Ring for the tube and maybe new bolts and nuts. The mounts are also very expensive.
I normally charge ~$1800-$2000 to do this job.
