I have a general question about the max RPM this engine will produce to match the prop pitch. I had a prop on the engine that topped out at 4300. I replaced that one for a prop with I believe a 19 pitch. To achieve the normal RPM of this motor should i have a 17 pitch on the motor to get max rpm?
Does anyone know what the normal RPM is? I've heard its 5500, is that right?
If i match all of this up right will gas savings go down or up?
Oh by the way this motor is so reliable, I love it! Just want to save gas with it, with gas prices climbing so high this summer....... |

For max efficiency your motor should run between 5000 and 5500 RPM at WOT. |
