I have a 20hp mariner ser# A701409 with new coils and wires I picked it up awhile ago and it needed some parts, once I was finished I fired it up, it ran great and all of a sudden no spark, I tested the stator and trigger resistance is a bit low trigger by approx 40 and stator by 60 is this enough to not produce spark? I tried disconnecting the kill switch will no results, any help will be greatly appreciated and the last question the motor has a aux stator both wires run to a block , what is this used for?

Well seems with a bit more digging lol the aux stator is for charging so at a later date I guess get a rectifier and I can charge my deep cycle I used with the boat, but the stator/ trigger questions still stand also one more question from the pos/neg terminals on the coils should they show continuity to eng ground at all?

resistence changes with temperature.
trigger test 650-850 between leads

coil test, .02-.04 between pos and neg
,800-1100 between coil tower and neg terminal

That's starting to sound like a bad ground, bad kill switch/key switch (as applicable) or just a bad/loose/frayed/rotted connection somewhere...

Its wierd I have looked at all the wires I can find and they look great, I did try the disconnect the kill switch with no sucess but I also test the kill switch (push button) wire (blk/ylw) to ground and it makes no continuity at all when pushed or released. But yesterday when it was running fine the kill switch worked fine. Any other ideas?
