EVINRUDE VE120TLEND Update
I have been looking for why I have one cylinder running lean and hot.
I have stripped and replaced all the seals and gaskets.

I have found the Bottom crank bearing was bad,
Balls and outer race pitted.
The check valves 3 of the 4 did not work.
The check valve tee piece was bad too.
I saw the Idle air bleed for port and starboard
was 34 & 37. Yes the one running lean was 34 .

The thremostat gasket in the new headset are rubber
with a plastic nut that screws on the thremostat.
I can not find them in the manual.
Is there a correct way to fit them.

Looks like you have a 'mixed' engine.
The EN has a spring controling the thermostat/by-pass opening, see pick:

The earlier versions had a membrane that the thermostat was screwed into:

Check the cover:
If a water hose attached, the 'old' version, if no water hose, the new.
