i have a 1979 evinrude 6 hsp outboard model#6905e,serial #j0001151 that takes nine or ten pulls to start when sitting for a long time or just sitting for ten minutes after running for an hour or so ,when starting i try to start with just a little more gas other than using the choke ,but it will not start till i close the choke part ways,,,,what could be the problem-i've installed a new power pack ,new coils, and new fuel pump, carburator was cleaned and reinstalled, new plugs ????????.............thanks |
