I live in Vic, I recently re-built a 1977 70HP, you would be bettor off getting a new piston/ring set & small end bearings. I used GLM parts the wrist pin was relatively easy to push in by hand. There are many dealers about, try Robinson Marine in Southport QLD - he posts parts has new & second hand.

Thanks for all the advice. I found a good condition used piston here in Australia but will always consider Mr. Reeves. He was very kind and generous with his offer.
