Anyone know the correct part # for a 1960 JW-16 prop shaft seal? I bought a replacement which looks a little different. I think it should work, but am having a hell of a time trying to get the old one out. The rubber/plastic part broke right off, and the metal insert won't budge. Any suggestions most welcome.
Would also love to know where I can get an owner's/parts manual specific to this motor. |

Not familiar with the engine but assuming you have it stuck in a housing that you have removed heat the housing in boiling water. The aluminium should expand a bit more than the insert and make it easier to remove. No guarantees though
