well to start my 60 hp evenrude stays in reverse and when i put it in foward nothing happens but the funny thing is that it cranks in gear. |

Check that the gear arm at the engine is moving when shifting, and try to disconnect the cable from engine and shift 'manually'.
The 'no start in gear' switch is in the remote and not on engine. If remote in neutral, engine will crank. |
