please help, this is a late 80's 60hp VRO, it starts and idles ok but stalls when put into gear. I can keep the engine running while idling in gear if I bump the primer as soon as it begins to stall... it will rev up a little, then stall back down, and I have to keep bumping the primer.
If I put it in gear and give it some throttle and start bumping the primer, it will slowly increase rpm's until it begins to run on it's own at high revs. However, w/o the primer it will stall every time. And it doesn't seem to have any good in-between... basically wide open or nothing.
Suggestions? |

Off,the top of my hd,...comes to mind,..if,.u have adj low spd jets,..adj the 1/2 turn,..to the left,...if u do not,..clean,rebuild carbs....ck for WATR in fuel.. |
