A sign the impeller is working? With the flushing hose connected and adding water through the thermostat covers, then running the motor causes the water to flow out of the heads. Right? Normally how much time is needed for the impeller by itself to pump water to the thermostats? |

actually, you need to run the motor in a barrel to determine if the water pump is working properly. The water pressure from a hose overcomes the water pump. |

tried running with low hose pressure, ran motor for about 30 secs. still no water at the aspirator. Can the motor be run longer? |

ran in garbage can , impeller worked right. water appeared at the aspirator outlet . thanks for the help |
