I have a Commercial Evinrude 25hp XL shaft,,,SU25RSZ. I belive it's an 85. I want to shorten the shaft and have found a 1975 25 Evinruide (25502B). Does anyone know if the driveshaft, water tube, and connector are interchangeable on these? Thanks! |

I make 25RSZ a 1988 model. Take a look at the parts diagrams in the parts catalog and the parts numbers for a non commercial 1988 and a 1975 and i think you'll conclude that the parts are probably not interchangable, at least not if the 25RSZ is the same as a 1988 non commercial model http://shop2.evinrude.com/ext/index.aspx?s1=fe734c8d0d019e57d43e69c77c477f81 |
