Hello Everyone,
I need help with the ID of the Outboard, its all black, looks like late 80's ~90s? It has labels that read 2hp Johnson, not sure if they are legit. I can find no model number or serial numbers anywhere on this unit.
I bought is off craigslist and it's hard a hard life, looks like its been salty for a good bit of its life, water pump still streaming, the only thing I had to do was cut a homemade gasket for the carb bowl as it was leaking everywhere. It starts on the first pull, good running little bugger, had it out a few times on Lake Alatoona.
Any information and help you can provide is greatly appreciated. I can take other pics if you need them.
