I spent 3-4 hours on the lake this past weekend. Still did not achieve the WOT that was expected only got 3200 rpm. I pulled the plugs today to get an idea of what I was doing. 1& 2 showed evidence of carbon fouling #3 was clean. How do I interpurt this sorry for the spelling.

ck spark,compression,and if good,..clean/rebuild carbs..

carbs are clean x 3 checked compression 2-3 weeks ago #1 120 #2 130 #3 135 just bought a spark tester, will further post when I do test.

Just checked spark on all 3 cylinders 7/16" good blue color. Check compression tomorrow.

OK changed plugs fron NGK something to Champion QL77's carried the boat to the lake so I could change out bunks easily. Of course I had to run up the lake for a bit ran smooth got to 4000RPM's do not have TnT I wonder if trimming out the motor with the manual detents would help reach 5000 RPMs

i'm not a fan of ngk,..however,..i do,put them,in mercs and yami's so the owners dont freak...
