just replaced the impellar on a 78 55 water comes out the pee hole cold but the head seems hot, can't hold hand on it too long anyone have any suggustions as to why it would be doing this thanks for your help |

Water from pee hole will be slightly warm at the most. You should be able to touch the cylinder head but not for more than a couple of seconds or so. If you cannot touch it at all or if a splash of water on it sizzles then it is overheating. If it is overheating then check the thermostat and pressure control valve perhaps as a first step. |
