hi all,looking at diagram in manual,it is showing springs and cork gaskets going into powerhead adapter first,i thought you slide corks down on t stats,input please,thanx yall

it shows thermo in spacer then cork then gasket.
i think i had the same problem when i did mine .
i ended up putting the cork in the spacer then thermo/gasket,the older kit that was in prior had rubber seals that fit around the thermo forming a seal at the spacer and gasket.
